Born and raised in the Holy city of Tzfat, Eliav has been around Art his whole life. His father, Daniel Flatauer, known as the Potter of Tzfat, has been making pottery art for the past 30 years. His fathers pottery studio was adjacent to their home in the artist colony. Needless to say, Eliav was always surrounded by art and creativity

His fathers pottery studio was adjacent to their home in the artist colony. Needless to say, Eliav was always surrounded by art and creativity.
Eliav loves to travel to grasp inspiration and knowledge from different cultures, and by the time he was 25, he had visiting over 20 different countries. He will always call Tzfat home though, and says that his biggest inspirations come from Tzfat. “I guess its something in the Air that lets your mind wander and opens up creative doors you might not have open elsewhere….”
