Biography
When I was 4 years old I looked at a picture of Winny The Pu the bear and I drew it. I remember telling myself that it was not beautiful for a 4-year-old girl's painting. It's just beautiful and good for any age. Unfortunately I was not encouraged at home and was told that painting is not a profession, so I did not study professionally but I painted all my life. I was born in 1978 to Israeli parents who were officially on behalf of the army in the United States. At the age of one week I was already in Israel, but I was always intrigued to go to America and at the age of 21 after I was discharged from the army I flew .... I lived in Philadelphia, New York ... I went on to the whole world. For 10 years I traveling. In 2010 I lived in Helsinki Finland where I saw at a friend's house a picture of a street in the old city of Safed. When I saw the picture, my heart told me this is where I want to live ... Within a month I left Finland and arrived in Safed. Although I was an Israeli I did not know about the art scene in Safed and when I got here I understood in my heart that God brought here to become a painter. Over the years that I've been living in Safed, I've looked at the amazing art I've been exposed to in this city. I spoke with artists, I observed. I taught myself to paint, to work professionally, to plan, to express an idea. It's hard to learn alone to be a self-taught artist, I paint for hours every day until my eyes burn. I experience countless difficulties and frustrations during work, but there is no greater satisfaction and happiness than I feel when I finish a new painting, when I look at the painting with the innocent eyes of a 4 year old and tell myself that it is beautiful.
